Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  1. For cheela batter:-
  2. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cupbesan
  4. 1/4 cuprawa/ suji
  5. 1/2 cupgrated carrot
  6. 1/2 cupgrated bottle gourd/ lauki/ ghiya
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1-2 pinchturmeric powder/ haldi powder
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1green chilli finely chopped
  11. Ingredients for stuffing:-
  12. 1 1/2 cupgrated paneer
  13. 1small capsicum finely chopped
  14. 1green chilli finely chopped
  15. 1 tbspcoriander finely chopped
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1 tspmixed herbs
  18. 1 tspchilli flakes
  19. Other ingredients:-
  20. 1 tbsppizza sauce
  21. as neededOil for making cheela

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all the mentioned ingredients of making cheela batter very well.

    By adding water, make a smooth batter like we make for pakode. And keep it aside.

    Mix all the mentioned ingredients of stuffing very well and keep it aside.

    Heat tawa on medium high flame, spread few drops of oil. Now add cheela batter and spread properly on heated tawa and make cheela. Cook from both the sides till golden brown.

    For assembling, take cheela in a plate and spread pizza sauce over it.

    Now spread paneer stuffing over it.

    After spreading the stuffing very well,start rolling the cheela, just like shown in the pic.

    Cut it into two or three pieces and serve with any sauce of your choice.

    You can add vegetables according to your taste to the cheela batter or to the stuffing.

    If the pan or tawa is not fully heated the batter may stick to it, so spread the batter on the properly heated pan or tawa.
