  2. 150 gmsJaggery -
  3. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder -
  4. 1 tbspLemon juice -
  5. 1/2 tspBlack salt -
  6. to tasteSalt -
  7. 1/4 tspAsafoetida -
  8. 1/4 tspCumin seeds -
  9. 1/4 tspCrushed fennel seeds -
  10. 1 tbspRaisins -
  11. 1 tbspCashew nuts -
  12. 1 tbspAlmonds -
  13. 1 tbspChopped dry dates -
  14. 2 tbspClarified butter -

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the amla and pressure cook.

    After two whistle turn off the flame.

    Once cooled,remove the seeds.

    Heat clarified butter in a pan.

    Heat clarified butter in a pan.

  6. 6

    Add amla and jaggery and cook in a slow flame till thick.

  7. 7

    Add red chilli powder,salt and black salt and mix well.

  8. 8

    Add lemon juice and mix well.

  9. 9

    Add raisins,almonds, cashew nuts and dry dates and mix well

  10. 10

    Once cooled, keep in the air tight container.
