Ingredients

30 minutes
6 servings
  • 2 tspBlack mustard seeds paste
  • 2 tspWhite mustard paste
  • 1 tbspCurd
  • 8Green chilies
  • to tasteSalt
  • To tasteTurmeric powder
  • 4 tbspmustard oil
  • 1/2 cupFresh coconut milk
  • 7-8hilsa fish pieces

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder for 10 minutes..

  2. 2

    Now in a steel Tiffin box add two types of mustard paste, coconut milk,curd, turmeric powder salt mustard oil and green chilies.And a little water.

  3. 3

    Add all the marinated fish in the box.And close the box with.the cover of the Tiffin box.

  4. 4

    Bhapa llish can be prepared in a flame using a double boiler.

  5. 5

    Take a deep vessel and place the steel Tiffin box in it.and add 5 cups water.

  6. 6

    Cook it in low flame for 20 minutes.

  7. 7

    Serve hot with boiled rice.
