This Jollof rice was cooked with firewood in a coal pot,you can imagine what it would taste like. Heaven on earth I must say.
Steps

Firstly wash the chicken then add all spices mentioned above then allow to cook in its water for 10mins mins after whichadd more water covering the chicken while the chicken is cooking smoothly Blend fresh pepper, tomatoes, tatashe,bell pepper, onions ginger and garlic then boil it till it is almost dry,

Now remove your chicken and fry The vegetable oil used to fry the chicken pour it into your cooking pot, add chopped onions and fry till the onion is soft. Add the tomato paste to the hot oil and fry on low heat, add your knorr, thyme, a bit of curry and continue stirring till the 'stew' is cooked When the sauce is cooked the oil will settle on top the tomato paste now add the chicken stock and allow to boil before adding your rice

Wash the rough rice thoroughly and place in the coal pot stir with wooden spoon while putting the rice this would enable the spices incorporate well with the rice Now cover the rice and allow to cook.

After 30mins cut 1-2 chunks of onions into the pot of rice and get a foil paper to cover up the rice allowing it cook in its steam for another 15mins. (when using a coal pot it is compulsory that the rice would get burnt)

Now put down your Pot of fire wood Jollof and stir now your toh hot Jollof is ready
