
No Egg Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 180C

In a saucepan melt on a very low heat Butter, Golden Syrup and Milk.

In a bowl sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and sugar. Make a well in the centre.

When the butter is melted stir in baking soda and quickly add mixture to the dry ingredients.

Mix until smooth.

Pour into a buttered ring tin

Bake for 25-30 minutes - until nothing sticks to a skewer when tested.

Stand in the tin for a few minutes then turn out into a wire rack.

Ice with chocolate icing when cool.
