cook spinach as directed on package. drain well and mix in artichokes. set aside.

for sauce: in medium saucepan cook mushrooms and onion in butter until tender
- 3
stir in cream cheese, salt, and pepper. cook and stir over low heat until cheese is melted.

gradually stir in milk and chives. heat through.

add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese to spinach and artichoke.
- 6
mix sauce with spinach mixture.

spoon into 2 qt baking dish. sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese.

bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until heated through and bubbly

can be served as a side dish or used as a dip with tortilla chips, pita chips, bread, or anything that can be dipped
