Ingredients

1 cupbutter, softened
1 cupsugar
1 1/2 tspsalt
2 cupunsifted flour
1 cupchocolate chips (6 oz package)
1/2 cupchopped nuts

Preheat oven to 375°

Combine butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt; beat until creamy.

Gradually blend in flour. Stir in chocolate chips.

Press evenly between into ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Sprinkle nuts over top.

Bake 25 minutes.

Cool. Break into irregular pieces.
