Ingredients

50 mins
  • 1 lbground pork
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped scallions
  • 4 tbspfinely chopped red bell pepper
  • 2eggs
  • 4 tspketchup
  • 2 tspyellow mustard
  • 4 tspWorcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsplight brown sugar
  • 1 tspkosher salt
  • 1 tspground black pepper
  • 1/2 tspcayenne pepper
  • 30 smallwanton wrappers (30-50)
  • 3 tbspvegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 1/3 cupchicken stock (divided)

    Preheat oven to 200°F.

  2. 2

    Combine first 11 ingredients (pork through cayenne) in medium sized bowl.

  3. 3

    Remove 1 wanton wrapper from package and cover the others with a damp cloth.

  4. 4

    Lightly brush the edges of the wrapper with water. Place half of a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold over and seal the edges. Set on a sheet pan and cover with a damp cloth.

    Heat a 12 inch saute pan over medium heat. Brush with vegetable oil once hot. Place 8-10 pot stickers on pan and cook for 2 minutes.

    Add 1/3 cup stock to pan. Turn heat to low. Cover. Cook for another 2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Remove wantons to a heat proof platter and place in the warm oven with a damp towel on top.

  8. 8

    Clean the pan before batches. Serve immediately.
