  2. 1 cupshrimp (your choice)
  3. Tomato-Basil Rose Sauce
  4. 1 canpeeled plum tomatoes
  5. 3 clovegarlic
  6. 1 1/2onion
  7. 1/2 cupchopped fresh basil
  8. 1/2 tbspdried oregano
  9. 2 tbspolive oil
  10. 1/4 cupdry white wine
  11. 1 tspchili pepper (optional)
  12. 1 tbspcream cheese
  13. 1 tbspparmasean cheese

  1. 1

    chop and dice onion and garlic and simmer in a sauce pan with the olive oil, chili pepper and oregano uh until golden brown

  2. 2

    add the can of tomatoes and the basil, salt, pepper, and a small pinch of sugar (optional: brings out flavor in the tomatoes) and a quarter cup of water, and simmer on medium-low for 20-30 minutes. Then, add the white wine and let the sauce bubble for another 5-10 minutes.

    once sauce is mostly ready, start boiling your water for the linguine. While the water is boiling, add in the cream cheese, parmasean, and the shrimp.

  4. 4

    once the pasta is cooked and the sauce has been brought to a nice bubble, mix together and serve! Works well with a dry white wine.
