pre heat the oven for 200°F Celsius

cream the butter and the sugar

mix in the dry ingredients that is the flour, coco powder, baking powder and the baking soda in a separate bowl

alternate the dry ingredients plus the eggs and the beer.

starting with the flour first and the eggs and the beer in a

after all the additions are done add the vanilla extract and just fold in. the batter is done.

you can pour in the mixture in a cake tin or muffin liners. as per yoyr choice.

you can frost this with a good chocolate ganache or make a good whisky ganache will do good!!
