Ingredients

24 servings
  • 1/4 cupshortening
  • 1/2 cupbutter
  • 1 2/3 cupflour
  • 1/2 cupwhite sugar
  • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  • 1 tbspvanilla
  • 1egg
  • 1/2 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 cupchocolate chips

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat oven to 325

  2. 2

    cream 1/4 shortening and 1/2 butter

  3. 3

    add 1/2 white suger and 1/2 brown sugar mix

  4. 4

    add 1 tablespoon or vanilla and 1 egg and mix

  5. 5

    in separate bowl mix 1 and 2/3 cup of flour and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of salt mix together

  6. 6

    add flour mix to egg mixture

  7. 7

    add chocolate chips

  8. 8

    with a 2 in ice cream scooper or spoon put on baking sheet and cook for 10 to 12 minutes

  9. 9

    its so easy my four year old makes them
