  1. biscuit mix
  2. 1 lbBiscuit mix- I use Krusteaz biscuit mix
  3. 1 cupButtermilk
  4. 1/4 tspCinnamon
  5. 4 ozColby jack cheese- shredded
  6. apple
  7. 2 eachApples
  8. 1 cupWater
  9. 1 tbspSugar
  10. 1 tspCinnamon
  11. fireball sauce
  12. 1 packagesVanilla pudding - small pack
  13. 1 cupHeavy cream
  14. 2 ozFireball whisky or cinnamon liquor
  15. Topping
  16. 1 cupBrown sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Core and slice apples. In small pot place sliced apples, water, sugar and cinnamon and cook on high for 7 min. Your not looking for thickened liquid. After you cook the apples set aside.

    Put dry biscuit mix in mixing bowl add buttermilk, cinnamon, cheese and cooled apples. Mix well by hand.

    Divide apple and biscuit mix into 12 muffin slots. I use a non stick muffin pan. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of all muffin.

  4. 4

    Bake in 375°F oven for 16 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

  5. 5

    For fireball sauce: make vanilla pudding according to directions on box. After add fireball and heavy cream. Whisk until smooth.

  6. 6

    Garnish with caramel. Enjoy!!!
