Steps

prepare the spaghetti by boiling it until it's tender, then dry and keep it aside to cool

preheat olive oil + saute onion and garlic in a pot

wash tomatoes, cut the upper part off then drop them with the onion and garlic
- 4
while the tomatoes heat up, press them hard to release their juices, and keep on sauteing
- 5
add the tomatoe paste and keep on stirring until it dissolves

add preheated hot water and stir

while it boils, add the salt, pepper and basil
- 8
heat it for a minute, then use the net thingy to separate the sauce from the remainings of the tomatoes, while dropping the sauce into the cooked spaghetti
