Loved this recipe while pregnant. Made it using Barilla protein pasta which gives it almost 40 grams of protein per serving.

Preheat oven to 375. Brown meat in pan, season with Italian seasoning, and drain when done. Cook spaghetti noodles to al dente and drain

Combine ground beef and most of the pasta sauce and cook until warm. In a separate bowl, combine egg, Parmesan, ricotta, and cottage cheese until blended well.

Cover the bottom of a 9x13 pan with a little sauce. Add 1/2 spaghetti noodles on top.

Pour cheese mixture on top of the pasta and spread until it is all covered.

Add rest of spaghetti on top.

Top the pasta with the meat sauce. Cover with foil and place in oven for 60 minutes.

Optional: after 60 minutes, add shredded mozzarella cheese on top and cook until melted
