1 cupsugar
4 tbspcornstarch
1/2 tspalmond extract
1 1/2 tbspbutter

preheat oven 375°F

heat cherries on Stove top covered, until juice is extracted.

mix in sugar and cornstarch

add almond extract

cook on low heat until filling is thickened

add to pie crust, dot with buter, cover pie and egg wash crust top then sprinkle with sanding sugar.

bake for 50min
