Mixed Vegetable Dal

Mixed vegetable dal is a healthy,flavourful and nutritious recipe. It is very easy recipe to make in less than 20 mins. The dal cooked with various vegetables like beans, raddish,cauliflower, carrot and many more vegetables. Here in this recipe I have used tuwar and yellow moong dal to make it more nutrious and healthy recipe.Tempered with 1tbs ghee, onion, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves, mustard and cummin seeds.

First wash and cut the vegetables

In a cooker add water little salt and vegetables for 1whistle

Take out the vegetables along with remaining water, keep aside

Wash both the dala and put into cooker.

Add ginger garlic paste

Turmeric powder, coriander powder

Cummin seeds

Chopped onion and tomatoes

Curry leaves, coriander leaves and oil.

Cook for 4-5 whistle or till dal get soft. Once done off the gas.

Now grind the dal with hand blender or with dal masher.

Now add vegetables along with water adjust salt. If dal is very thick add little more water and give a boil

For tadka in a pan add 1table spoon ghee,cummin, mustard seeds

Add sliced onion and curry leaves

Add crushed garlic pods, slit green chillies and coriander leaves.

Cook till onion gets golden colour

Once done pour on dal and serve.

Serve with roti or rice.
