This recipe happen by accident; I was in the kitchen whipping up some French toast; when I accidentally knock over my ingredients into a bowl; I looked and saw a little flour and a little of my orange juice have spilled into the bowl with the other ingredients. So I decided to mix it altogether and see what happens. It turns out that these French toasts are great.
So I prefected the recipe and now I have a great French toast receive. Hope y'all enjoy it has much as I did.

Ingredients

  1. Serving size is based on 1 slice per serving
  2. 8 Slicestexas toast bread
  3. 4large eggs
  4. 1 cupheavy whipping cream; (you can use half-n-half/whole milk)
  5. 1/4 cupfreshly squeezed orange juice
  6. 1 tbsp.orange zest
  7. 8tsps. unsalted butter
  8. 2 tsp.Sugar
  9. 1 tsp.cinnamon
  10. 1/2 tsp.extra rich pure vanilla extract
  11. 1/4 tsp.nutmeg
  12. 1/8 tsp.salt

Cooking Instructions

    Prep Time 37 minutes

    Preheat oven to 200 degrees

  3. 3

    In a small sauce pan melt butter over medium heat.

  4. 4

    While mixing the batter up; dry bread on a wire rack in middle of the oven for 13 to15 minutes. Remove and set aside.

    In a large bowl mix together all ingredients except flour; whisk well.

    Slowly add flour; whisk well.

  7. 7

    Now coat both sides of bread with mixture and set on a plate.

  8. 8

    Add 1tbsp. of butter to skillet over medium heat until hot.

  9. 9

    Place one coated piece of bread into skillet and cook 11/2 to 2 minutes per side; until brown and crusty on edges.

    Transfer to a plate and repeat process until all pieces of bread are cooked.

    Serve with powdered sugar, maple syrup, and whip cream on top. Or your favorite fruit on top; etc.

there is no mention of flour in the ingredients but flour used in the recipe.How much flour?
