Ingredients

  • 1 packagephyllo dough
  • 1 lbfinely ground lamb
  • 4medium onions
  • 2 tablespoonsplain yogurt (about 1/4 small cup or 60 ml)
  • 2 tablespoonstahini (about 1/4 small cup or 60 ml)
  • 3 tablespoonspomegranate molasses
  • Salt
  • 7-spice blend
  • Pine nuts for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Finely chop the onions. Sauté them in butter over medium heat until soft. Add the ground lamb and cook with the onions, stirring until all the liquid evaporates.

  2. 2

    Add the yogurt, tahini, and pomegranate molasses. Stir well and cook until all the liquids are absorbed. Add the 7-spice blend and salt, then set aside to cool.

  3. 3

    Fill the phyllo dough with the meat mixture. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake at medium heat until golden brown.

    Serve with fresh mint, lemon, and tomatoes. Enjoy! ❤️
