cream together butter,1/3 cup sugar until light. add the eggs and continue to beat until it looks broken. add vanilla and milk

in a large bowl stir together flour ,corn meal mix, baking powder and salt. add dry ingredients to the Creamed mix and beat until it's a sticky soft dough

sprinkle dough with flour and wrap tight in plastic and chill till firm for about in hour

after firm roll dough into 3/4 inch thick

roll dough into med size balls

in a large pot heat oil to 340 and fry in till dough is golden brown

scoop out set on plate with paper towels

put grated2 cups of sugar into shallow bowl then roll zeppoles into the sugar
