Ingredients

1 hour
  • 3 cupglutinous rice (malagkit)
  • 250 gramscoconut milk powder
  • 800 mlwarm water
  • 400 gramsbrown sugar
  • 360 mlwater
  • 1 pinchsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash rice and cook in pressure cooker for 5-7 minutes( water about 1 cm above rice). Leave it a bit undercooked.

    Prepare coconut milk by mixing warm water and milk powder

    Put sugar and salt with the milk and start boiling until it thickens.

    Combine the rice with the thickened mixture and stir continuously until the liquid evaporates. This will take a long time. You must keep stirring to avoid burning.

    Place the finished product in a pan and let it cool. (You can oil the pan first for easy removal)

    Cut and serve. ^^
