  1. Dough
  2. 1 cupCake Flour
  3. 1 tbspAppricot Jam
  4. 1/2 cupSugar
  5. 1 tspBaking Powder
  6. 1 pinchSalt
  7. 1 cupMilk
  8. 1 tspBicarbonate of Soda
  9. 1Egg
  10. 1 1/2 tbspVinegar
  11. Sauce
  12. 1 cupSugar
  13. 1 cupMilk
  14. 1/2 cupBoiling Water
  15. 125 gramsButter
  16. 1 tspVanilla Essence

Steps

1 hour 30 mins
  1. 1

    Pre-heat oven to 180°C

  2. 2

    Mix all the dry ingredients forthe dough together

  3. 3

    Beat the egg and sugar together

  4. 4

    Add all the ingredients except the milk together.

  5. 5

    Add the milk and stir together

  6. 6

    Pour dough in a oven dish and bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until fully cooked

  7. 7

    While baking the puding, boil the sauce ingredients together.

  8. 8

    When the puding is baked, remove from the oven and poor the sauce over it.

  9. 9

    Serve with custard, ice cream or cream.
