Ingredients

15 servings

4small cans tomato paste
4-5large cans tomato sauce
3green peppers diced
1large onion diced
4beefsteak tomatoes cut to desired size
1oregano
4 clovesgarlic cloves
1 tbspsalt
2 tspblack pepper
3 tspsugar ( for Italian flavor)
3-4bay leaves
2 lbground italian sausage

Combine all ingredients but sausage, simmer covered for 3 hours stirring frequently

Cook ground sausage and add to sauce about a half hour before sauce is done
