Ingredients

  • 2 lbbeef for stew, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 mediumonion, sliced
  • 1 smallgarlic colve, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cupof water
  • 2 cupketchup
  • 2 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsppacked brown sugar
  • 2 tsppaprika
  • 1/2 tspdry mustard
  • 1 packagesof wide egg noodles

  1. 1

    Cook and stir beef, onion and garlic until beef is brown. Drain.

  2. 2

    Stir in 1 1/2 cups of water, the ketchup. Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, paprika, and mustard. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.

  3. 3

    Cover and simmer until beef is tender, 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

  4. 4

    Cook noodles, drain and place in serving dish. Top with beef mixture.
