Preheat oven 475°F / 240c / gas 9

Place flour, salt, bextartar and bread soda into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

Melt butter and honey and mix with milk

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.

Add all liquid and mix together quickly and thoroughly with a knife.

Pour into a loaf tin and level off roughly

Put tins straight into preheated oven and immediately reduce temperature to 350°F / 180c / gas 4

Bake for about 40 minutes or until nicely browned
- 9
Remove from tin for last 5 minutes and turn upside down to crispen the base.

Cool on a wire rack
