Slice sausage links into 1/2 inch pieces. In skillet, brown both ground Italian sausage and sliced sausage links in batches. Drain off fat and add to a large pot.

Heat oil in skillet and add onions, garlic, and green peppers. Sauté until onions are translucent, and add to the pot.

Add the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, wine, basil ad parsley. Mix well and bring to a low boil and simmer uncovered for 30 min.

Add zucchini, pasta, and jalapeño. Cover and simmer 15 min stirring occasionally. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
