Ingredients

  1. carrots
  2. 1 lbcarrots cut on diagonal eighth of an inch thick
  3. 1 pinchsalt
  4. teriyaki sauce
  5. 1/3 cupShaoxing wine
  6. 1/3 cupsoya sauce (lite)
  7. 1/4 cupsugar
  8. 1 tbsprice wine vinegar
  9. thickening solution
  10. 1/4 cupwater
  11. 1 tbspcornstarch

Steps

  1. 1

    heat in pan no oil the carrots low heat 5 minutes stirring occasionally

  2. 2

    in a sauce pan add all the ingredients for teriyaki saucecook on high heat for 7 minutes

  3. 3

    mix cornstarch solution add to teriyaki sauce to thicken stir continuously

  4. 4

    add to carrots let simmer 7 minutes
