I wanted a healthier way of eating calamari instead of deep frying it.
Steps

Make sure the calamari is cleaned washed & cut up.

In a bowl put the breadcrumbs, grated cheese, oregano & garlic & mix well

Add some olive oil to the bread crumb mixture & stir until the breadcrumbs are little wet...do not soak the breadcrumbs with oil...(see pic)

Cover a flat baking pan with aluminum foil & put a shallow pile of calamari on it & salt & pepper it & drizzle lightly with olive oil & top with a generous amount of the breadcrumb mixture.

Bake in a 400° preheated oven for about 10 minutes or more....when breadcrumbs brown it should be ready.

Plate & squeeze fresh lemon juice on top & garnish dish with parsley & enjoy.
