Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupwhite rice
  2. 1/2 cupsplit yellow lentils(moong ki daal)
  3. 1/2 cuppetite crimson lentil(masoor ki daal)
  4. 1 mediumsize sliced onion
  5. 5red whole dry chilli
  6. salt
  7. 1/2 cupoil
  8. for Garnishing
  9. 1green chillies,onion

Steps

  1. 1

    First wash rice and lentils and soak in water for 15 minutes. And keep aside. Take oil in a pan fry onion and chillies fry till golden

  2. 2

    Now drain rice and lentils together add in oil.And salt simmer for 5 minutes at low heat.

  3. 3

    Now add required water cook about 15 _to 20 minutes or till you feel it's getting soft and dry its done.And serve with attached mash potatoes with chutney

  4. 4

    Fry onion and chillies and garnish
