Ingredients

  1. 1 lbsausage
  2. 2 tbspfinely chopped onion
  3. 6 tbspall-purpose flour
  4. 4 cupmilk
  5. 1/2 tsppoultry seasoning
  6. 1/2 tspground nutmeg
  7. 1/4 tspsalt
  8. 1 dashworcestershire sauce
  9. 1 dashhot pepper sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Crumble sausage into a large saucepan; cook over medium-low heat

    Add onion; cook until transparent

  3. 3

    Drain, discarding all but 2 T of drippings

  4. 4

    Stir in flour; cook over medium-low heat about 6 min. Or until mixture bubbles and turns golden

  5. 5

    Stir in milk

  6. 6

    Add seasonings; cook, stirring, until thickened
