Add melted butter to milk.

Add the egg to the milk/butter mix.

Whisk thoroughly for 30 seconds.

Add in pancake mix 50 grams at a time and whisk on each addition until fully absorbed.

Heat a frying pan until very hot.

Leave pancake batter to stand for 10-15 minutes until small bubbles appear.

Add 1/3 cup measures of pancake batter to the pan and spread thinly using round motions of the pan.

Carefully pick a corner of the pancake to see the underside. When a medium to dark brown colour is seen flip the pancake over.

Each side shouldn't take more than 40 seconds to a minute depending on heat. The more pancakes made the quicker they cook.

Add a syrup, sugar and lemon or ice ream topping, as required.
