Cook bacon till crisp save some drippings. Drain bacon on a paper towel and crumble and set aside

In saved drippings saute onion and celery over med heat briefly. Then sprinkle with garlic powder and reduce heat and simmer covered for 5 min or till tender.

Add beans, salsa, broth, parsley, and bacon and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 min. Season with hot sauce if desired. Garnish with a little sour cream, cheese and tortilla chips.
