Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 4Lean Pork Chops (1/2 to 3/4 in. thick)
  2. 1Large Onion (sliced)
  3. 1/4 tspSalt
  4. 1/4 tspPepper
  5. 1/4 tspGarlic Powder
  6. 2 ClovesGarlic (minced)
  7. 1 TbspButter (melted)
  8. 1 CanCream of Mushroom Soup
  9. 2/3 CupEvaporated Milk
  10. 1/3 CupWater

    Preheat oven to 350°

  2. 2

    Choose skillet with an oven proof handle, such as Cast Iron.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle Pork Chops with Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Powder.

  4. 4

    On stove top over medium high heat, brown Pork Chops and Onion in Butter.

  5. 5

    Add Garlic Cloves after the first side is browned. Do not allow garlic to become dark.

  6. 6

    After both sides have browned, pour off any excess butter.

  7. 7

    Combine Soup, Evaporated Milk, and Water. Pour mixture around the Chops.

  8. 8

    Bake in preheated 350° oven for about 45 mins. Stir occasionally.

  9. 9

    Sliced Mushrooms may be added to the gravy, and Cream of Chicken Soup can be used in place of the Mushroom Soup, depending on taste preferences.
