Ingredients

  1. Crust
  2. 1 packages18.25 oz box - yellow cake mix
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 stickmelted butter (1/2 cup)
  5. Filling
  6. 1 packagescream cheese (8 oz)
  7. 2eggs
  8. 1 tspvanilla extract
  9. 1 boxconfectioners sugar (16 oz)
  10. 1 stickmelted butter (1/2 cup)

Steps

    Preheat the oven to 350°

  2. 2

    Lightly grease a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

  3. 3

    In a bowl combine the cake mix, egg and butter. Mix well. Pat the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and set aside.

  4. 4

    In mixing bowl beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla and confectioners sugar and beat well. Slowly mix in the melted butter. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Pour the filling onto the crust and spread evenly.

  6. 6

    Bake for 40-50 minutes. The center of the cake should be a little gooey, so don't over cook.

  7. 7

    Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Cut into squares. This cake is very rich, so you may want to cut into smaller squares than you usually do. I like 1" squares.
