Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350.

In large mixing bowl combine applesauce, shortening, brown sugar and sugar. Mix till shortening is blended.

Add baking powder,baking soda, flour, salt and vanilla. Mix until doughy and flour is absorbed.

Melt chocolate add to dough and mix till fully blended.

Let dough stand for 5 minutes. Place in,golf ball sized dollops about 2 inches apart on non stick cookie sheet. Bake for 13 minutes and let cool before enjoying. Makes 12 cookies.
