whisk together flour, brown sugar & salt. incorporate butter with pastry blender or fingers until mixture appears sandy with a few pea-sized clumps. distribute evenly over blackberries

bake until golden, 25-30 minutes. remove from oven, top each with small scoop of ice cream & serve immediately
