1/2 cupchopped figs
3/4 cuppork or chicken broth
2 tbspwhite wine
1/2 cupfarmers cheese
1salt and pepper to taste
1 tspginger
1 tspgarlic
4egg yolks
1single pie crust

prepare pie pan with unbaked crust

mix all other ingredients together and pour into crust

bake 350 for 45 min. or till filling is set

we had a medieval Christmas one year and did a lot of research. this was very tasty!
