Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup+ 6 tbsp butter, softened
  • 3/4 cupfirmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cupgranulated sugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1 tspvanilla
  • 1 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspsalt (optional)
  • 3 cupoats
  • 1 cupwhite chocolate chips
  • 1 cupdried cranberries

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Combine butter and sugars in large bowl. Beat with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well with butter mixture. Add oats, chocolate chips and cranberries; mix well.

    Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.

  4. 4

    Bake 8-10 minutes, or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
