Clean sardines, and mash well. A mortar and pestle works great for this.

Season sardine paste to taste with mustard, salt, and pepper.

Lay out bacon slices, and spread sardine mixture in a thin coat on each slice.
- 4
Roll bacon slices up, and insert a youth pick through each bacon/sardine pinwheel to hold.
- 5
Place in a hot frying pan, and cook Jersey Mosquitoes in their own drippings.
