
Semi-homemade Barbecue Sauce

Steps

Add everything but vinegar in a pot and bring to a simmer over low heat.

Taste when sauce comes to a simmer. If sauce tastes ketchup-y add mustard and spicy flavor until there's a kick.

Add vinegar (if it doesn't taste right add more). When taste is right bring heat up until the sauce bubbles. Then take heat off and let cool to 1/2 the temperature.

Transfer to glass bowl, cover, and chill for 2 days.
