Prep and measure all your ingredients

In a pan brown your beef

This helps enhance the taste and retain the juices

Heat oil in a pan and add the onions. Cook well till golden brown.

Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the pilau masala and stir. Then add the browned beef and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the blended tomatoes

Stir in the tomato and cook for 2 minutes

Add the rice

Mix well

Add water and stir in well and cover to cook on low heat.

The pilau is now ready
