  1. 250 gmsbeef steak
  2. 2 tbspncooking oil
  3. 1large thinnly sliced onion
  4. 2 cmgrated ginger root
  5. 3crushed garlic cloves
  6. 11/2 tbspnpilau masala
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 2blended tomatoes or 30gms tomato paste
  9. 1 cuprice
  10. 2 cupshot water

    Prep and measure all your ingredients

    In a pan brown your beef

    This helps enhance the taste and retain the juices

    Heat oil in a pan and add the onions. Cook well till golden brown.

    Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute.

    Add the pilau masala and stir. Then add the browned beef and cook for 2 minutes.

    Add the blended tomatoes

    Stir in the tomato and cook for 2 minutes

    Add the rice

    Add water and stir in well and cover to cook on low heat.
