My wife loves toffee and it can be so hard to make on the stove. So I wated several batches trying to figure out the clrrect timing on this recipe.

Mix sugar and water in a small glass pyrex measuring cup.

Place the butter on top of the sugar mixture.

Microwave on high for 3:10. My microwave is 1000 watts, so you may need to adjust your cooking time.

Immediately pull the boiling mixture from the microwave and mix well.

Pour onto a nonstick pan liner to cool.

Crack with a spoon once hardened.
