Chicken Skewer In Sichuan Peppercorn Salt Rub
POPULOR STREET FOOD IN CHONGQING ,SICHUAN PROVINCE IN CHINA
Cooking Instructions

Thinly slice chicken into strips
- 2
Marinate chicken
- 3
Marinate chicken for 10 minutes
- 4
Skewer the marinated chicken and don't over crowded it
- 5
Grill or bake it
- 6
On a oiled foil layer the skewered chicken in batches
- 7
Bake it at 200C /400F for 8 to 10 minute then turn over and sprinkle dry spice and bake for another 7 minute

Turn over and sprinkle again and bake for another 1 minute then serve

This is by far my favorite homemade jerky. Only 3 ingredients and amazing flavor! Everyone has had teriyaki jerky and it's really good but this is so much better. Additional flavors can be added like ginger and crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne to taste. At some point in the future I do believe I will try an old timey chuck wagon meal of reheating jerky in broth to make a stew type thing, but with Sichuan jerky and noodles. jason williams -
