Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupSugar
  • 1/2 cupShortening
  • 1/2 cupButter
  • 2each Eggs
  • 2 3/4 cupFlour
  • 2 tspCream of Tartar
  • 1 tspBaking Soda
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • Sugar-Cinnamon Mixture
  • 1/4 cupSugar
  • 1 tbspCinnamon

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. 2

    Mix sugar, Shortening, butter and eggs.

  3. 3

    In a separate bowl mix flour, cream of Tartar, salt and baking soda.

  4. 4

    Combine the two mixtures then roll into balls.

  5. 5

    Mix the sugar-Cinnamon mixture then roll balls in it before baking to light brown.
