I am the queen of dealing with leftovers. Wait till you see what went into my bread

Prepare your dough by adding everything in a clean bowl and mixing well

Let it rest and proof for about half an hour. It should double in size

Caramelize your onions.. Fry them till translucent. Add any preferred seasoning

Prepare your other fillings

Deflate your dough and let it proof again

Divide your dough into balls before rolling them out

Take one ball and roll it out

Make the cutting on the side and leave enough room for the filling

Time to braid the bread. Start with one side, bring it to the centre and do the same on the other side. Fold it upwards when you get to the bottom

Do that for all the balls rolled out. Line your tray with wax paper and place your braided bread pieces

Put them in your preheated oven for 30 min at 180 degrees C. Coat with egg wash

30 minutes later.....

Get creative with the filling. You can add some sesame seeds too.
