In a bowl, combine the chicken strips with all the spices, vinegar, and lemon juice. Let the chicken marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably longer.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they soften. Add half of the mixed bell peppers and cook briefly. Then add the marinated chicken with all the marinade and stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the chicken cook for 10 minutes on low heat until fully cooked.

Uncover and check if the chicken is cooked through. Add the remaining bell peppers and cook, covered, for just 2 more minutes.

Take a tortilla, spread your choice of ketchup, mayonnaise, or tahini, then add some of the chicken shawarma filling and roll it up.
