Ingredients

8-10 servings
  1. 4-6 lbsBoneless Pork Shoulder
  2. Rub
  3. 1 1/2 tbspSalt
  4. 1 tspChili Powder
  5. 1/2 tspGround Ginger
  6. 1/4 tspNutmeg
  7. 1/2 tspCayenne
  8. 1/2 tspCumin
  9. Sauce
  10. 1/4 cupMaple Syrup
  11. 1/2 cupApple Cider Vinegar
  12. 1/2 tspCayenne
  13. 2 Cupsreserved juices
  14. 1 tspGarlic Powder
  15. 1 tspGround Black Pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all the rub ingredients together in a bowl.

    Rub the pork shoulder with the rub. Be sure to get into the cracks and grooves.

    Cook the Pork shoulder for 4-6 hours in a slow cooker on high.

    Resever juices from the pulled pork and shread

  5. 5

    In a pan combine sauce ingredients and heat until thick. Stir often to avoid burning the maple syrup.

  6. 6

    Combine pulled pork with sauce and serve.
