Ingredients

  1. 1covered cassarole dish
  2. 1steamer bracket
  3. 3 lbTurkey breast
  4. 1 tspeach.garlic,onion powder,salt&pepper
  5. 3 tbspbutter
  6. 1/2bell pepper
  7. 1/2jalapeño
  8. 1/2onion
  9. 1 can4oz. mushroom pieces or 3-4large fresh mushrooms
  10. 1 1/2 tbspgarlic(chopped)
  11. 2 cupwhite wine(chardonnay)
  12. 8baby reds or baby yukon potatoes half of each is my preference.
  13. 1 canTurkey gravey reduced sodium/ regular size I believe 12or15 oz can

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat oven to 350°

  2. 2

    Sprinkle 1tsp. each garlic,onion powder salt&pepper over entire turkey breast

  3. 3

    Add 1c. white wine to bottom of casserole dish. Place bracket in bottom and Turkey on top cook about 1to 11/2 hrs.

  4. 4

    Meanwhile get gravy ready.

  5. 5

    In medium-lg skillet melt butter till slightly burned.

  6. 6

    Add onion, bell pepper & jalapeño. Cook till tender

  7. 7

    Add can of mushrooms juice and all & chopped garlic,simmer till reduced .

  8. 8

    Add one c. white wine simmer till reduced slightly. Then add can off turkey gravy to that till mixed well and hot and bubbly

  9. 9

    Add potatoes around out side of Turkey breast. Pour gravy over top potatoes and Turkey. Cover and finish cooking according to lb. amount approx. 2 1/2 hrs/ 3lbs. of breast
