Ingredients

  1. 1 CupRaw Rice
  2. 1. 1/2 CupsCurd
  3. 1-2tspOil
  4. 1/2 tspMustard Seeds
  5. 1-2 tspChana Dal
  6. 1-2 tspUrad Dal
  7. 2Chopped Green Chillies
  8. 1/2 tspChopped Ginger
  9. Few pieces of Red Chillies
  10. LeavesCurry
  11. pinchAsafoetida
  12. as neededOil
  13. Salt (To Taste)
  14. LeavesCoriander
  15. Grated Carrots for Garnishing
  16. Pomegranate Seeds for Garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash & cook raw rice (1cup) till soft. Cool it completely. Mix 1 to 1 1/2 cup thick curd, Salt & mix well. Heat oil in a pan, add Mustard seeds, Chana dal, Urad dal, Chopped Green chillies & Ginger, Red chilli pieces, Curry leaves & Asafoetida powder. Add rice & curd mix& mix well. Garnish with chopped Coriander leaves, Grated carrots & Pomegranate seeds.
