Ingredients

8 servings
  • Batter
  • 1/2 tspvanilla
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 2 tbsppineapple water
  • 4eggs
  • 1 cupWater
  • 1 cupflour
  • Topping
  • 1 cupbrown sugar
  • 1/2 cupbutter
  • 1 canpineapples
  • 5cherries

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    For Batter: beat eggs - add sugar and water, then add dry ingredients.

  3. 3

    Place pineapples and cherries in bottom of pan.

  4. 4

    Melt brown sugar and butter in medium skillet, pour over pineapples and cherries.

  5. 5

    Pour in batter.

  6. 6

    Bake for 45 minutes.

  7. 7

    Turn out on plate immediately.
