Ingredients

  • For dough
  • 1 cup Maida
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cupBeetroot & wheat flour
  • Oil as needed for fry
  • 2 tbspGhee
  • 1/4 cupBoiled peas
  • 1/2 cupFor stuffing Boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 tspAmchoor powder
  • 1/4 cupOnions chopped
  • 1/4 tspGreen chillies
  • 1/4 tspJeera powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Take maida and put salt and 1 tbsp ghee and knead firm dough. Cover and keep aside.
    Take beetroot flour and add salt and ghee and knead firm dough. Cover and keep aside.

    In a bowl mix all ingredients of stuffing and keep aside.

    Now roll maida roti and beetroot roti separately.
    Now take beetroot roti and keep over maida roti.

    Roll both together. (Shown in pic)

    Cut roundels and roll like puri and stuff little potato mixture.

    Bind it like potli.
    Prepare all accordingly.

    Now heat oil and fry all on medium hot oil.

    Serve with chutneys /dips/ ketchup.
